First Time Campers

If you're camping with us for the first time then you're in for a treat!

CAMPSITE

It does get cold at night so remember to bring warm clothes and a sleeping bag for cold weather. This is a comprehensive list and may not apply to everyone.

  • tent
  • rug (to put outside of tent)
  • lantern/flashlights/headlamps
  • batteries for lights
    no electricity/outlets at the camping grounds
  • blankets/sleeping bag/air mattress/cot
  • pillows/pillowcases
  • tarp/rain cover
  • mat/yoga mat
  • cooler for food & drinks
  • chairs/cushions to sit/tapestries
  • wood for campfire
  • fire starting gear - lighter, lighter fluid, coals
  • trash bags/ trash can – reduce ants & animals getting into trash
  • tables
  • toilet paper/tissues/wipes
  • towel (for river or showers)
    *showers are available at festival grounds*

*there is nice grass to be barefoot at the festival grounds, but it can get colder during the night*

PERSONAL FOOD/ COMMUNITY KITCHEN

~ Any and all help will be greatly appreciated ~

*It is best to bring your own water supply (please reduce plastic waste if possible).

*There is a community kitchen available at MFTP where you can donate time/service & food

*The community kitchen will have clean filtered water available to refill your bottle.

  • cooler for food & drinks
  • food/snacks to eat for the weekend (personal)
  • stove top/grill
  • butane/gas for stoves

  • eating utensils (knives, forks, spoons)
  • napkins/paper towels
  • foil/ food storage/ziploc bags
  • roasting sticks for campfire cooking
  • trash bags
  • buckets/tubs for dirty dishes (washing station available at MFTP)
  • washcloths/sponges for dishes

~ Pachamama will appreciate the reduction of single use plastics ~

Leave a place better than how it was when you arrived. If you bring it in, you take it out.
