Welcome to MFTP Kid's Village
Medicine for the People is a family friendly event. We host a special place for families and children to create memories and bonds that last a life time. Our venue at Camp Tahuaya has been a Boy Scout camp since 1932 and is made for kids to grown, explore and learn.
We bring spiritual families together by offering workshops, classes, and fun activities for everyone. (See example below)
Some playshops may change but we have lots of ongoing activities like swimming, canoeing / kayaking, bounce house, gaga ball, playground onsite, indoor maker space, hiking the trails, playing in the waterfalls, plus indoor restrooms and hot showers onsite to clean em up if they get messy.
We are always inviting parents to become village chaperones and help keep eyes out for the littles in shifts as a way to share time with your children and create a safe container. We have a form in the button if you are interested in signing up for some play time. Also we have a button for the Kid’s Village Facebook group page to connect on social media.
Our venue is 155 acres with a spring fed lake and 7 waterfalls with lots of nature trails to explore along the way. While the venue is made for children we want to be extra diligent to keep the kids safe while enjoying the natural beauty of the land.
We do have some rules: No drop offs under 3 years of age. Parents should know where their children are at all times. If parents are unavailable please let our hosts or chaperones know you are checking in the child. Kid’s Village is not a baby sitting service and only provides a safe space for kids to play. Parents are as big of a part of the village as the children. Come play with us.
We are asking parents to help support the Kid’s Village with small amounts of time as volunteers to keep eyes on the Kid’s area just to watch for any rough housing in the bounce house and gaga ball pit, hand out snacks, or help find a parent.
We wlecome parents to participate in workshops and play with their children in the Kid’s Village. Please fill in this form for Mamma Bears and Pappa Bears in the button to the right >>>>>>>>>>>
